Alia Bhatt Comes Onboard as Executive Producer for Amazon Original Crime Series Poacher, Created by Emmy-Award Filmmaker Richie Mehta and Produced by QC Entertainment.
The crime thriller drama features a diverse and versatile cast, including Nimisha Sajayan, Roshan Mathew, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya in pivotal roles Poacher will be available to stream on Prime Video in India and across 240 countries and territories worldwide on February 23.
“Poacher” is an investigative crime series that delves into the alarming issue of ivory poaching in India, based on true events. Richie Mehta, the Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, created, wrote, and directed the series, which will be available in Malayalam, Hindi, and English.
Alia Bhatt expressed her excitement about joining the project and stated, “Being part of this incredibly significant project is an honor for both me and the entire team at Eternal Sunshine Productions.” She emphasized the personal impact of “Poacher” and its portrayal of urgent wildlife crime issues.
