Akshay Kumar to Make a Cameo in Stree 2, Reports Reveal

With anticipation building for the return of the beloved trio Vicky, Jana, and Bittu, played by Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana, respectively, ‘Stree 2‘ promises another thrilling horror comedy. Joining them once again is Shraddha Kapoor, heightening the excitement among fans. Adding to the buzz, reports reveal that Akshay Kumar will be making a special cameo appearance in the film.

Although the makers have yet to confirm Akshay Kumar’s cameo, a source close to the production shared, “Yes, it’s true. Akshay has a cameo in the Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor starrer. The makers felt his comedy timing is impeccable, and his presence, even for a few minutes, will elevate that particular sequence.” Details of his scene remain under wraps, adding to the intrigue.

Fans of the Dinesh Vijan horror comedy universe already know that Varun Dhawan will make a brief appearance as Bhediya. Additionally, a viral clip has revealed that Tamannaah Bhatia will also have a cameo in the film, further exciting the audience.

‘Stree 2,’ directed by Amar Kaushik, will follow the villagers of Chanderi as they face another supernatural threat. The film is set to release on August 15, marking the return of the franchise that started in 2018.

Interestingly, ‘Stree 2‘ will share its release date with another comedy, ‘Khel Khel Mein,‘ which features Akshay Kumar alongside an ensemble cast including Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Aditya Seal, Ammy Virk, and Pragya Jaiswal.

With Akshay Kumar’s cameo and the star-studded cast, ‘Stree 2‘ is poised to be a major hit, keeping audiences entertained and on the edge of their seats.
