Akshay Kumar and Tabu Film Classical Dance Sequence for Bhooth Bangla in Hyderabad

Akshay Kumar and Tabu recently shot a classical dance sequence for their upcoming horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla during a key schedule in Hyderabad. Directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Ekta Kapoor, the film will release in April 2026. This project reunites Akshay Kumar with Priyadarshan after 15 years, sparking excitement among fans.

Pritam composed the song, which features Tabu in a never-seen-before avatar as she performs an elegant classical Indian dance alongside Akshay Kumar. A source close to the project revealed, “The song appears at a crucial moment in the film and will serve as one of its major highlights.” This dance sequence adds a unique touch to the film’s spooky yet comedic narrative.

Bhooth Bangla features a stellar cast, including Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Mithila Palkar. Wamiqa plays Akshay’s love interest, while Mithila portrays his sister. The film reunites the iconic team behind classics like Hera Pheri, Bhagam Bhag, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa, promising a nostalgic treat with a fresh twist.

The filmmakers have incorporated extensive VFX to blend horror and mythology seamlessly. A source noted, “The horror and supernatural elements draw from mythological influences, and Priyadarshan captured them with precision.”

Adding to the excitement, Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan will also collaborate on Hera Pheri 3. They plan to start filming in December 2025, with a theatrical release scheduled for late 2026.
