Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan Reunite for Horror-Comedy Bhooth Bangla Set to Release in 2025
The film industry is buzzing with excitement as Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan reunite after a 14-year hiatus. The duo, known for their successful collaborations, is set to bring back the magic of horror-comedy with their upcoming film Bhooth Bangla.
On his 57th birthday, Akshay Kumar shared the official announcement along with the film’s first-look poster. He expressed his excitement, writing, “Thank you for your love on my birthday, year after year! Celebrating this year with the first look of Bhooth Bangla! I’m beyond excited to join forces with Priyadarshan again after 14 years. This dream collaboration has been a long time coming… can’t wait to share this incredible journey with you all. Stay tuned for the magic!”
A source close to the production revealed, “The film is not just a comic caper but also has elements of horror, fantasy, and the supernatural. It’s the most ambitious project from Akshay and Priyadarshan.”
Ektaa R Kapoor, under the banner of Balaji Telefilms Ltd., is producing the film. The source added, “Shooting will begin in December with a start-to-finish schedule. Bhooth Bangla explores a new blend of horror and comedy, and the title is as catchy as it gets.”
Fans eagerly await the 2025 release of Bhooth Bangla and the reunion of Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan, who have a proven track record of delivering box-office hits.
