Disha Patani Makes Hollywood Debut in Kevin Spacey’s Directorial Comeback ‘Holiguards’

Bollywood star Disha Patani is officially stepping onto the global stage with her Hollywood debut in Holiguards, a supernatural action-thriller directed by Oscar-winner Kevin Spacey. This marks Spacey’s return to directing after a hiatus of over two decades, adding further intrigue to the high-profile project.

Holiguards, filmed in Mexico, is packed with international star power. Disha shares screen space with action icon Dolph Lundgren (Rocky IV, The Expendables), Fast & Furious star Tyrese Gibson, and Brianna Hildebrand of Deadpool and Lucifer fame. Despite the star-studded ensemble, it’s Disha who is capturing headlines with her breakout performance.

The film is part of a larger planned franchise titled Statiguards vs. Holiguards, promising epic supernatural confrontations and visually stunning action sequences. Buzz around the film began building during its post-production phase, especially after a behind-the-scenes photo of Disha went viral online.

Sources confirmed that Disha had been in Durango, Mexico as early as January this year to shoot pivotal scenes for the film alongside Tyrese Gibson and model-turned-actor Harry Goodwins. An industry insider revealed, “The footage from those scenes looks absolutely stunning. The parts she’s in are visually spectacular — fans are truly in for a treat.”

While her Hollywood journey begins with Holiguards, Disha is also busy back home in India. She’s gearing up for Welcome to the Jungle, the much-anticipated third installment in the Welcome comedy franchise, slated for a 2025 release.

With Holiguards, Disha Patani is not only making her Hollywood debut but also proving that her star power transcends borders.
