The much-awaited trailer for Retro has just been released! Featuring the talented Suriya in the lead role, the trailer and audio launch event took place at a spectacular gathering in Chennai on Friday. Directed and written by Karthik Subbaraj, Retro is set to hit theaters on May 1.
This upcoming Tamil film marks Suriya’s first collaboration with director Karthik Subbaraj, who first made waves with his horror heist film, Pizza. With the May 1 release date approaching, the team has unveiled the trailer for Retro.
Retro is being described as a romantic action film and is produced by 2D Entertainment and Stone Bench Studios. Alongside Suriya, the cast includes Pooja Hegde, Joju George, Jayaram, Nassar, Prakash Raj, and Karunakaran. The music for the film is composed by Santhosh Narayanan. The film has already passed its censor checks and will run for a generous two hours and 48 minutes. Additionally, Shreyaas Krishna is behind the camera, while Shafique Mohamed Ali takes on the editing duties.
