Kiara Advani to Star in Maddock Films’ Shakti Shalini, Directed by Ajitpal Singh
Maddock Films has unveiled its ambitious plans to expand its popular Horror-Comedy Universe, announcing Shakti Shalini as the fifth installment in the franchise. Scheduled for a December 31, 2025 release, the film will feature Kiara Advani in the titular role. Directed by Ajitpal Singh of Tabbar fame, the project promises a unique mix of folklore, horror, and comedy.
A New Chapter in Maddock’s Universe
Shakti Shalini follows the success of hits like Stree and Bhediya. Maddock Films aims to introduce a fresh perspective while connecting it to the overarching cinematic universe. Production is expected to begin in April or May 2025. According to reports, the narrative will incorporate Indian folklore elements with a blend of humor, making it a standout addition to the franchise.
Ajitpal Singh’s involvement as director adds a layer of intrigue. Known for his critically acclaimed works like Tabbar and Fire in the Mountains, Singh has a reputation for crafting emotionally resonant stories.
