Salman Khan Postpones ‘Sikandar’ Shoot Amid Security Concerns

Salman Khan, set to return to the big screen in the highly anticipated film Sikandar, has paused shooting due to personal and security concerns. This decision follows the assassination of Baba Siddique, a close family friend and political figure, leaving Salman and his family deeply affected.

The Khan family worries about security risks near their residence. With growing concerns, Salman Khan decided to stay out of the public eye and halt shooting indefinitely.

A source close to Salman shared, “Salman’s full attention is needed for the intense action sequences in Sikandar, but with the emotional strain, he can’t fully commit to the project right now.” The source further explained, “Salman’s and his family’s safety remains the top priority, and production will only resume when things stabilize.”

Directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar features Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal. The film, originally slated for an Eid 2025 release, may face delays due to these unforeseen circumstances.
