Funeral Procession Escort Involved in Dallas Multi-Vehicle Crash; Four Hospitalized
Dallas, TX – Four people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash during a funeral procession in Dallas on Wednesday afternoon. The incident occurred around 1:40 p.m. in the 3800 block of Spur 408, close to UME Preparatory Academy.
According to Dallas Police, one of the motorcycle escorts leading the funeral procession was struck by a car. Though the specifics of the injuries remain unclear, four individuals were transported to the hospital, and all are reported to be in stable condition. It is not yet confirmed if the motorcycle escort is among those hospitalized.
The crash involved multiple vehicles, including two motorcycles and two cars, both sustaining significant damage. No Dallas police officers were injured in the accident, and it is currently unknown which department the motorcycle escort was from.
