In just 2 minutes and 39 seconds, Koratala sets the stage for Devara: Part 1, a story where “the sea turned red.” Saif’s character and his men live in a place untouched by fear—until Jr NTR’s character arrives, changing everything. While appearing to ally with him, Saif’s character seems to have a deeper plan to overthrow the man who brought fear to their world. Janhvi Kapoor plays a village girl in love with the lead’s son, also portrayed by Jr NTR. Although the son seems unlike his father, he may have no choice but to step up when the time comes.
Devara: Part 1, featuring Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan, will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi on September 27.
