The trailer for “Stree 2,” featuring Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, and Abhishek Banerjee, has been released. The sequel picks up where the 2018 horror-comedy “Stree” left off, with the town of Chanderi once again facing a supernatural threat. This time, however, the menace is not the spirit of ‘Stree’ but a new monster. Rajkummar, Abhishek, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana return to battle this new horror, with Tamannaah Bhatia also appearing in the trailer.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, “Stree 2” is set to release in theaters on Independence Day, August 15. It will compete at the box office with Akshay Kumar’s “Khel Khel Mein.”
