Man Accidentally Shoots Himself During Fight in Deep Ellum, Dallas

DALLAS – Early Sunday morning, a man accidentally shot himself during a fight in Dallas’ popular Deep Ellum neighborhood, according to police reports.

Authorities responded to a shooting call around 1:30 a.m. on Commerce Street, where they discovered that a group of individuals had been involved in a physical altercation.

During the altercation, one of the men unintentionally discharged a firearm, resulting in a gunshot wound to his own arm.

The injured man was promptly taken to the hospital for medical treatment. Police have not disclosed the severity of his injuries.
