Tamannaah Bhatia Stuns in Teaser for Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao’s Stree 2

The highly anticipated teaser for the horror film Stree 2 premiered on Friday, June 14. Earlier this week, we reported that the teaser would first play in cinemas with Munjya and then launch digitally. Keeping their promise, the makers attached the Stree 2 teaser to the prints of Munjya from today. Audiences are captivated, especially by Tamannaah Bhatia’s surprise sizzling appearance.

Though the teaser reveals little about the plot, it highlights an increase in the horror quotient. The teaser ends on a humorous note with Rajkummar Rao appearing terrified. Tamannaah Bhatia makes a blink-and-miss appearance that leaves a lasting impression. The dance number hinted at in the teaser seems to center around her. Netizens, however, find the brief long-shot depiction of her character puzzling. A noticeable shot of Tamannaah standing scared has already started circulating among her fan clubs.

Stree’s first part, released in 2018, starred Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, marking the beginning of the Maddock Supernatural Universe. The horror comedy opened to great success, collecting Rs. 129.90 crores at the domestic box office. The franchise continued with Bhediya (2022), featuring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, and Munjya (2024), starring Sharvari and Abhay Verma. Varun made an exciting cameo in Munjya, while Rajkummar Rao had a special appearance in Bhediya.

Stree 2 brings back Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, along with Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film is slated for release in cinemas on August 30.
