After his acclaimed performance in 12th Fail, Vikrant Massey is back with another intriguing project. One of his upcoming films is a black comedy thriller titled Blackout. Directed by Devang Shashin Bhavsar, the film also features Mouni Roy, Sunil Grover, and Jisshu Sengupta in pivotal roles. The teaser for the film is now out, promising an exciting and twisted storyline.
The teaser opens with a mysterious voiceover stating, “Main samay hoon aur aaj main yeh batane aaya hoon ki tumhara waqt badalne wala hai.” We then see Vikrant Massey’s character involved in a collision with a truck filled with money and jewels, setting off a chaotic chain of events.
While the teaser doesn’t reveal much, it suggests that Massey’s character and his companions find themselves in deep trouble after stumbling upon the truckload of cash and gold. We catch glimpses of a gun-wielding Mouni Roy and Sunil Grover in a hilarious disguise. The teaser ends with Vikrant hysterically singing “Badshah O Badshah” while driving in the rain.
Vikrant Massey continues to receive praise for his role in 12th Fail, for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor (Critics’) at the 69th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2024 with Gujarat Tourism.
Blackout is set to release on June 7 on OTT, and it promises to be a thrilling addition to Massey’s impressive filmography.
