Wingstop Shifts Headquarters to Uptown Dallas in Expansion Drive
Wingstop, one of the fastest-growing restaurant chains, is moving its headquarters from Addison to Uptown Dallas, marking a significant step in its growth strategy.
Wingstop Restaurants Inc., renowned for its rapid expansion and status as one of the nation’s fastest-growing restaurant chains, is poised to relocate its corporate headquarters from Addison to the bustling heart of Uptown Dallas. The move was officially announced on March 28, with the company confirming its new office lease at One West Village. This strategic relocation underscores Wingstop’s ambition to cement its position as a top 10 global restaurant brand.
The upcoming headquarters will encompass an impressive 112,000 square feet, spreading across the 15th to 18th floors of One West Village, under a 13-year lease agreement. This transition not only signifies Wingstop’s growth ambitions but also aligns with the broader trend of companies seeking modern, amenity-rich office spaces in Uptown’s vibrant district.
Currently located along Wright Brothers Drive in Addison, Wingstop’s decision comes at a time when Uptown Dallas is increasingly becoming the preferred location for corporate offices due to its walkable environment and state-of-the-art facilities. This move is set to position Wingstop for an exciting new growth phase, leveraging Dallas’s dynamic business ecosystem.
Donnie Upshaw, Senior Vice President of Corporate Restaurants and Chief People Officer, emphasized the importance of the Dallas area to Wingstop’s history and future. While the exact number of employees expected to work at the new headquarters has not been disclosed, the Addison office was projected to accommodate 150 to 175 staff members. With Wingstop’s addition of 187 locations in 2022 alone, the move to Uptown Dallas marks a pivotal moment in the company’s expansion journey, signaling a bright future ahead.
