The much-acclaimed Border, which originally released in 1997, is getting a sequel. The makers announced that Border 2 will hit theaters in January 2026, almost 29 years after the original film.

On June 14, the makers revealed the release date of Border 2 through an announcement video. The highly anticipated film, starring Sunny Deol, will release on January 23, 2026, to coincide with India’s 77th Republic Day celebrations.
