Entertainer Rajkummar Rao, currently enjoying the success of his latest Netflix series Guns and Gulaabs talked about his dream role in an interview. He said he didn’t want anything more than to play Bhagat Singh in a film and guaranteed that if he ever gets a chance to play it, he would do it as no other person has. He recently played Subhas Chandra Bose in a web series.

A few Bollywood films have been made on the existence of the great freedom fighters, including The Legend of Bhagat Singh, 23rd March 1931: Shaheed, Rang De Basanti, and many more. While there have been a few reports about Rajkummar playing the part, nothing has been affirmed. In a meeting, he said he feels very “passionately” about the legendary freedom fighter’s story.

“Of course, I’m very passionate about Bhagat Singh and his journey, and to present him on screen in a very different way than whatever you have seen till now, and it was great also,” he said. The actor added, “But, if I ever do Bhagat Singh, it would be a very different take on his life and me playing him as an actor.”

Rajkumar’s latest release, the crime-comedy series, Gunsand Gulaabs, is getting mixed reviews from fans and critics. The entertainer assumes the part of a lovestruck technician Paana Tipu in the show created by Raj and DK. The series additionally stars Dulquer Salmaan, TJ Bhanu, Satish Kaushik, Vipin Sharma, Gushan Devaiah, Adarsh Gourav, and Pooja Gor. Our sources stated, “Raj and DK’s signature humor is on display, but not all jokes land. The primary cast is stuffed with good actors, but not everyone is written interestingly.”
