Alicia Landry, widow of legendary Dallas Cowboys coach Tom Landry passed away at 91.
Landry passed away on Thursday. She was born in Georgia but brought up in Dallas and went to Hockaday and Highland Park High School.
The Cowboys expressed their deepest concern and released a statement, "deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the Landry family."
Alicia and Tom met on a blind date while at the University of Texas, and they were described as "a match made in heaven."
The two got married in 1949, but Tom passed away in 2000.
The family asked people to donate instead of sending flowers in the loving memory of Alicia. All donations will go to the North Texas FCA at www.northtexasfca.org/donate or to Highland Park United Methodist Church in memory of Alicia Landry.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
