The cities of Carrollton and McKinney both have new police cheifs.

In Carrollton, north of Dallas, Roberto Arredondo was employed to supplant Derrick Mill operator, who passed on recently to turn into Irving's police boss.
Arredondo has served in policing for 25 years. He began with the Dallas Police Division in 1996 and came to Carrollton in the wake of filling in as the police boss in Victoria, southwest of Houston.

McKinney additionally invited Joe Ellenburg to the gig all day.
Ellenburg was named interim chief in October after Greg Conley became the city’s director of public safety.

He's been in policing for 30 years, beginning with the Collin Province Sheriff's Office in 1992. He joined the McKinney Police Division in 1995.
