Texas Christian University is worried about increasing cases of coronavirus in the university.
COVID-19 cases on the university have tripled in the second week of classes.
According to School leaders, they are dealing with the rise in cases.
Senior Benton McDonald reported on the coronavirus outbreak. He said, “No one is probably going to go on the record about this, of course, but just hearing that whether you are on or off-campus, no one wants to see the campus closed so soon into the semester. So you know some people, if they are asymptomatic or they develop mild symptoms, and they live off-campus, they might not see the need to call the university’s hotline.”
Currently, McDonald is in self-isolation due to possible exposure to the coronavirus.
