No doubt, the internet or social media brings people closer. But, it also gives rise to cyberbullying. Whether an ordinary person or a celebrity, the cyberbullies and trolls leave no stone unturned to defame someone.
To stop such practices and Sonakshi Sinha has come forward and joined hands with cyber experts and launched a campaign, Mission Josh.

This initiative includes Maharashtra Police and will raise awareness about cyberbullying, harassment, mental health, and more. This will help people know about the consequences of cyberbullying and trolling; this will help them get information on legal actions that can be taken and how. Her first video will be aired on July 26.
She shared her video and wrote, “AB BAS! It's time to stop the pandemic that’s plaguing our online world- Cyber Bullying and harassment. Full Stop To Cyber Bullying is a campaign by Mission Josh, where I have teamed up with Special IGP Mr Pratap Dighavkar with an aim to create awareness and educate people about online harassment, trolls, impact on mental health of victims who have faced trolling. Ab bas, NO more online harassment!”
Recently, Sonakshi deactivated her account on Twitter because she felt that this platform was bringing in too much negativity for her.
