The son of a North Texas film maker has been captured and is viewed as an individual of interest in the homicide of both of his parents.
The Johnson Area Sheriff's Office says entertainer and essayist Mike Scarlett, 66, and his significant other Kay Scarlett, were shot and killed in their Joshua home on Oct. 5.
Their bodies were not found until the following day.
A truck having a place with the couple was found in the parking area of Texas Wellbeing Huguley Clinic in Stronghold Worth on Oct. 7.
The couple’s 28-year-old son Samuel Scarlett was captured inside the clinic for unapproved vehicle utilization.
He had been in control of the truck, and sheriff's agents accepted he had left the shooting location in the vehicle.
Scarlett is held at the Johnson Area Prison on a $100,000 bond.
He is now viewed as an individual of interest in the twofold homicide.
