Shah Rukh Khan is set to resume shooting for his upcoming spy thriller ‘Pathan’ co-starring Deepika Padukone. The actor’s car was parked with director Siddharth Anand’s car outside the film sets of ‘Pathan.’
According to the reports from the sources, “Pathan has resumed its shooting schedule after the lockdown caused due to the second wave. An intense shooting schedule awaits SRK, who seems to have started the shoot first. We hear John Abraham and Deepika Padukone are set to start in the next few days. A sizeable portion of the film will be shot in this schedule before the team heads to international locations to shoot the big action and scale sequences.”
The film shot started in April but was put on hold due to the Janta Curfew imposed by the Maharashtra government.
Further reports from sources confirmed that the 10-day schedule would be taking place entirely at a Mumbai studio. The entire team will be in a bio-bubble; the makers have ensured the whole cast and crew involved with the shoot are vaccinated after the government instructed production houses to exercise caution while resuming the shoot.
Makers were also planning an international schedule of ‘Pathan,’ but it was postponed due to the pandemic.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone will play the lead in this film. Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathan’ will also have John Abraham. It will also star Salman Khan in a special cameo appearance as his iconic character from the ‘Tiger’ series.
