Officer allegedly involved in the 'Pyramid Promotion Scheme' has been arrested by Dallas police.

A search for a Dallas policeman has got filed. A dozen others got referred to a special prosecutor concerning an accused pyramid scheme.

According to a news statement from the department, the agency's public integrity section has secured an arrest warrant for Officer Reginald Jones, a nearly 20-year employee assigned to the South Central Patrol Division. He is wanted to allegedly promoting and managing a pyramid scheme.

In addition, the agency announced that grand jury referrals on the allegation of participating in and encouraging a pyramid promotion system had got made for 12 other officers, all get assigned to the South Central Patrol Division. According to the department, Reserve Officer Brad Deason and citizen Sonja Davis have also get referred to a grand jury on the same charge.

According to the release, all of the officers involved are on administrative leave pending an internal affairs investigation. The South Central Patrol Division gets based in southeast Oak Cliff, near Camp Wisdom and Lancaster roads.

Calls to Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia, Sgt. Mike Mata, president of the Dallas Police Association, Sr. Cpl. Terrance Hopkins, president of the Black Police Association of Greater Dallas, and Dallas City Council member Adam McGough, chair of the council's Public Safety Committee, went unanswered Friday night.
