Northwest ISD, north of Fort Worth, will require another area chief the following fall.

Dr. Ryder Warren has been Northwest ISD's director since 2016.

On Monday, he advised the educational committee he wants to resign in June.

Under Dr. Warren's administration, Northwest ISD has added somewhere in the range of 1,000 and 2,000 understudies per year.

School area trustees will start the quest for his replacement.
