Sidharth Malhotra will play a RAW spy in Mission Majnu, following his performance as an Indian Army officer in Shershaah. On May 13, 2022, the film gets set to be released. The actor confirmed the news on social media today, November 2. He expressed himself as follows: "Prepare to be a part of India's most secret operation, which successfully thwarted Pakistan's nuclear ambitions! #MissionMajnu, based on true events, will be released in a cinema near you on May 13th, 2022."
Sidharth Malhotra resumed the shooting of Mission Majnu on August 23 after it was interrupted owing to Covid-19. The spy thriller, set in the 1970s, is based on events. In September, the filming got completed. Rashmika Mandanna's section got completed in the last week of August.
