Veteran entertainer writer and director Mahesh Desai inhaled his last on April 13 in Mumbai. He was 95.

As indicated by reports, he has been incapacitated for quite a while because of a break in the hip. His memorial service occurred today at Chandanwadi, Marine Lines.

Mahesh Desai had acted in various Gujarati films and a few Hindi movies. He was likewise a well-known artist on the Gujarati stage. His real name was Oliver Desai. He had embraced Mahesh Desai as his screen name.

He has Hindi movies like 'Pakshiraj,' 'Baharon Ke Manzil,' 'Aakrant,' 'Sant Tulsidas,' 'Shiv Bhakta Baba Balak,' 'Nath,' 'Gupt Gyan, Kshitij,' 'Balak Aur Janwar,' 'Naagin Aur Suhaagan,' 'Jai Baba Amarnath' and 'Insaaf Ki Jung' and others surprisingly.
