Kajol opens up about her character in ‘DDLJ’ as the film clocks 25 years

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer most-loved historical film ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ completed its 25 years since its successful release in 1995. The fans are equally excited about this achievement. Today, Kajol talked about her character in the film and said that her character Simran from the film nick-named, ‘DDLJ’ was “cool” but a little old-fashioned at the same time. 


She talked about her character and said that she finds Simran in “almost” everyone around her. She could feel Simran when someone waits for the “right thing” in someone who doesn’t opt for the right thing or even those who seek that “approval”. Wrapping up her character, she further added that Simran was cool but a little old-fashioned.


Meanwhile, on the work front, fans have begun trending #DilwaleDulhaniaLeJayenge on Twitter and shared pictures and videos of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol to celebrate the silver jubilee of the evergreen film.
