National award-winning writer Himanshu Sharma, whose collection of work incorporates the 'Tanu Weds Manu', and 'Raanjhanaa' is teaming up interestingly with screenwriter Kanika Dhillon for Aanand L Rai's 'Rakshabandhan' which stars Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar. She is known for composing films like 'Manmarziyaan,' 'Kedarnath,' and 'Judgemental Hai Kya.'
The film was declared by Akshay Kumar on Raksha Bandhan last year. Discussing the venture, Himanshu Sharma said, "This is the first occasion when that I'm co-composing a content, and I'm lucky to team up with an ability like Kanika...who has a particularly unmistakable voice...she has a particularly fluctuated assortment of work which I've generally appreciated and I trust we give a valiant effort in Rakshabandhan."
Sharing her enthusiasm about composing 'Rakshabandhan,' Kanika expressed, "Rakshabandhan is an extraordinary story, and interestingly I have teamed up with Himanshu Sharma - who is known for changing the scene. Of Hindi movies! I was apprehensive and eager to work with this massive ability! with Rakshabandhan, we trust we will want to recount a story that advances into the hearts of each sibling and sister!"
On Wednesday, the producers made a declaration about Bhumi joining the group. Bhumi took to online media and expressed, "An uncommon film and an exceptionally unique get-together. I am remarkably eager to team up again with two of my number one creative force to be reckoned with and people. Am loaded with appreciation to being a piece of this extraordinary, heart-contacting story #RakshaBandhan."
