Yesterday, Former President Barack Obama praised the Milwaukee Bucks for "standing up for what they believe in" after their team decided to boycott their NBA playoff games due to police shooting of Jacob Blake when he was in the home state of Wisconsin.

Obama said in his tweet, "I commend the players on the @Bucks for standing up for what they believe in, coaches like @DocRivers, and the @NBA and @WNBA for setting an example," "It's going to take all our institutions to stand up for our values."

After the NBA, he tweeted that it will postpone Game 5 of three different series in response to the Milwaukee Bucks' decision.

Blake, a Black man, was shot in back on Sunday when he tried to enter his vehicle in Kenosha, Wisconsin. His shooting incident became the latest one to encourage people nationwide over racial injustice and police brutality.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris talked to Jacob Blake's family.

Though Blake survived the shooting, he was paralyzed from the waist down and unsure if the paralysis is permanent.
