Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the acclaimed filmmaker, is preparing to reunite with his favourite actor, Salman Khan. The two had previously had a love-hate relationship and were poised to reconcile for the film Inshallah after 21 years apart. The film, however, was finally shelved only days before it got set to begin production.

The team is poised to reconvene for the docu-series Beyond The Star, according to a report from a web portal. Salman Khan's path in Bollywood and his superstardom over the previous three decades get chronicled in this docu-series. The series will also reveal details about the actor's personal life, including his family, personal connections, and interactions with co-stars and coworkers.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali, as we all know, has played a crucial role in Salman's career and will appear in the series. The show's creators narrowed down a list of potential directors, producers, and performers and began approaching them, while others received a personal invitation from Salman Khan.

Bhansali was one of the people who got approached, and he agreed to be a part of the docu-series right away. He's already shot his lines and told Salman Khan about his memories of friendship and affection. An OTT behemoth is developing the series. SKF Films, Wiz Films, and Applause Entertainment will collaborate on the project.
