Exclusive: Freeze warning issued for some parts of North Texas

The temperatures during the 80s we saw recently will appear to be ancient history as temperatures decrease across North Texas Friday.
Many pieces of North Texas will see rains on Friday until the afternoon.

A few regions might see some little hail.
A large part of the area will see temperatures close to or below freezing by Saturday morning.
The Public Weather Conditions Administration gave a freeze caution from 3 a.m. to 8 a.m. for most nearby regions, generally in the north and west.

Temperatures will decrease as low as 30 degrees on Saturday morning, with a breeze chill in the lower to mid-20s.
Make sure to cover your plants and welcome your pets inside on Friday night. Individuals that live in the regions with a freeze advance notice might need to keep cold water dribbling from the fixture to assist with holding pipes back from freezing.
Temperatures will keep on falling over the day Saturday, with many individuals nearby underneath freezing late Saturday into Sunday morning.
