Ekta Kapoor's production house began offering a vaccination drive to vaccinate all of its staff members. The industry plans to vaccinate 600-800 employees. The campaign was held at two centers, the Balaji house, and Killick Nixon Studios is vaccinating staff.
The vaccinate program will include two shots for all on-roll and off-roll staff members.
Ekta Kapoor said, as an organization, we have always believed that our staff is our biggest asset, and we'll continue to look out for them.
Zulfiqar Khan, Group COO, Balaji Telefilms said, the Balaji team will ensure that the entire vaccination process is a convenient process following all the required government protocols.
The vaccination drive was held in association with Jaslok Hospital.
Last week, Aditya Chopra's production house began the first phase of their vaccination drive to vaccinate as many as 4000 staff members of the Hindi film industry. The house pledged to vaccinate 30,000 registered members of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE).
Earlier this month, the Producers Guild of India (PGI), the association of Indian film, television, and digital content producers, also initiated their vaccination program for staff and members of the production team.
Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association (IMPPA) and Screenwriters Association (SWA) also announced that they would host vaccination drives for free.
