Bad news for Thanksgiving travel and even Turkey Day itself.

The storm that should travel through our area from the get-go in the week has become increasingly slow.

Bay air moves north, and a storm moves south from the northwest, welcoming light showers on Wednesday; however, for somewhat late Thanksgiving voyagers, it will get heavier on Wednesday night.
The rain will stay close through Thursday morning, particularly in the eastern part of North Texas.
The more significant part of the Metroplex will dry early in the evening. However, a portion of our eastern districts could see weighty rains.
On the off chance that you are driving on Thanksgiving Day, it may be hopeless, assuming you are traveling south or east.
There might be some extreme climate in East Texas.

The rain chances stay close by for Friday into Saturday.
The opportunity of rain on Friday will be exceptionally high for regions north and west.
A few showers could keep close by into Saturday morning before, at last, moving out and clearing up for Sunday and Monday.
