Ananya Panday will be performing on stage for the first time since her acting debut in 2019. She made her acting debut in Dharma Productions' film Student of the Year 2. Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria feature in the Punit Malhotra-directed film. Following her debut, Ananya appeared in films such as Khaali Peeli, Pati Patni Aur Woh, and Gehraiyaan, and she is presently preparing for her first live stage performance. At the upcoming IIFA 2022, she will give her first professional live stage performance.

The 22nd International Indian Film Academy and Awards (IIFA) will be on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi on June 2, 3, and 4. This year's event will get hosted by Salman Khan and Riteish Deshmukh. There are some noteworthy performances planned for the film festival. Ananya Panday is currently one of the most popular young actors in Hindi cinema.

"As it is Ananya's first live performance since her acting debut, she is putting out her best efforts to make it a memorable one," a source said of Ananya's preparation for the great event. She'll be performing to hits from her first film, Student of the Year 2. The entire affair will be a star-studded extravaganza and a night to remember."

The event will get held in conjunction with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) and Miral, Abu Dhabi's leading provider of immersive places and experiences, at Etihad Arena, part of Yas Bay Waterfront on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
