An Amber alert was issued for a 2-year-old Celina boy yesterday. According to reports from the Celina Police officers, the boy was found safe after he was kidnapped by his father Tuesday night.
Amber Alert was issued for Levy Pugh, and 15 hours later, the toddler was found safe in McKinney.
According to reports from the Celina police officers, 42-year-old Isaac Pugh forced his way into his ex-wife's home, assaulted her, and took their son.
The two left in a white 2019 Toyota Tacoma with the Texas license plate MDT1625.
Officer Chase Guidera with Celina PD said, "We believe that Issac is under the influence, that he's a danger to himself and his child and potentially armed. With that said, if located please call 911 immediately,"
Police officers are working with federal authorities because they think he might take his child to Mexico.
Officer Guidera said, "Issac if you are watching this, if you're hearing this, please do the right thing for your son. Let us know where you're at. This could end peacefully. You can still have a relationship with your child."
She made an emotional plea for the father of her 2-year-old son to return him unharmed.
Officers found Levy and Isaac at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday. Levy was returned to his mother unharmed, and Isaac was taken into custody.
Police did not specify exactly where they were located, and it’s unclear if they were in McKinney the entire time.
Isaac has a criminal history that includes a pending misdemeanor for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, a domestic violence charge in 2004, as well as assault/battery from the same year.
