Alamo Drafthouse has temporarily shut down four of its movie theaters in North Texas after they opened them in late August.
Cedars, North Richland Hills, Denton, and Las Colina's locations are being temporarily closed as they manage operations because of everyone's challenges due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The original Alamo Drafthouse is in Richardson, and the newer theater in Lake Highlands will continue to operate. All other DFW locations are temporarily closed for now.
After seeing the weak box office collection from Christopher Nolan's "Tenet," so many big-budget movies that were expected to hit the screen in theaters have been delayed.
