Aditya Roy Kapur has been roped in to star in the Hindi remake of the Tamil hit film 'Thadam.' He said as an entertainer, getting an opportunity to do a double role is double challenge.

The film based on true events, yet-to-be-named spine-chiller will see Aditya Roy Kapur in a double role for the absolute first time in two different avatars. Helmed by debutant chief Vardhan Ketkar the film is likely to go on floors in September this year.

"I'm excited and eager to be a part of this interesting story. The original film was captivating and engaging, and it had an enduring impact on me. As an entertainer, getting an opportunity to do a double role is a double challenge, and I'm positively available," Aditya said.

Discussing his most recent relationship with Murad Khetani and working again with Aditya, maker Bhushan Kumar said: "When Murad Bhai shared the possibility of the Hindi redo of Thadam, I was energized as it had gotten a ton of praise down south. Working with similar individuals is consistently fun; that is the reason I like teaming up with Murad Bhai."

Since the arrival of 'Thadam' in 2019, maker Murad Khetani quickly made the film for the Hindi crowd.
