Following Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been in the news due to wedding rumors. We know that Ranbir and Alia were planning to marry in December of last year when the coronavirus pandemic hit the world, and the couple had to postpone their wedding. A media report recently quoted a source saying that the couple has wrapped up their respective work schedules in preparation for their wedding in December of this year.
When Alia Bhatt's mother, actress Soni Razdan, was asked about the rumors surrounding her daughter's upcoming wedding, she said: "Even I have no idea when the wedding would take place. I, too, am awaiting some information."
The marriage will start happening "somewhere in the future," according to the star, but it will be a "long way coming." "There's still a huge amount of time," she explained. It will inevitably occur, which will be a period. Now, I'm not confident when it'll happen," she remarked, referencing to her new program Contact My Manager: Bollywood, in which she plays a Bollywood agency, and then joked, "Perhaps you'll have to contact Alia's advisor for that, although even her representative might not understand."
Last month, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor celebrated his birthday at the Sujan Jawai resort in Jodhpur. Fans assumed the couple was investigating places for their rumored wedding in Jodhpur at the time. Neither Alia nor Ranbir, however, have responded to the rumors.
