According to Ayushmann, "An actor comes across a narrative now and then that pushes him out of his comfort zone. While I've always been a fan of book stories, 'Anek' inspired me to give it my all. It's the type of script that makes you want to go all out. I'm happy with what we've accomplished, and even more so that I was allowed to star in it."
According to Ayushmann, the type of new-age film he likes is 'Anek.' He then remarks, "I'm grateful to Anubhav Sir for choosing me to tell this unique story, and to Bhushan Sir for providing us with the assistance we needed. It brings me immense satisfaction to watch our dream idea come to fruition."
The film is said to be a polished spy thriller set in Northeast India's geopolitical context.
"It was a difficult picture to write and a difficult one to make," Sinha remarked of the release date. We shot it in terrain, but what makes it unique is how satisfying the takeaway was. It was great to work with Ayushmann again, who brought the story to life with his portrayal of Joshua. Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Anubhav Sinha's Benaras Media works collaborated on 'Anek.'
Bhushan Kumar, the producer, added: "Making a film like 'Anek' demands a true visionary. It's a project in which I'm quite proud to be involved. Filmmaking is a true celebration of a wide range of passionate voices, and I'm delighted we were able to find a narrative like Anek's to tell, which will establish a new standard."
