Is ‘Aakhri Sach’ starring Tamannaah Bhatia based on Burari deaths?

Aakhri Sach is based on One Night, one family, multiple deaths, an investigating officer, and various theories! The trailer for this series is out! This project is based on real-life incidents. The trailer of the crime investigation thriller has been released, and the series promises to open many mysteries and delve into the lives of each character. Produced by Nirvikar Films, directed by Robbie Grewal, and written by Saurav Dey, ‘Aakhri Sach’ will be available exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar from August 25, 2023.

The series comes loaded with a talented ensemble of Tamannaah Bhatia, Abhishek Banerjee, Shivin Narang, Danish Iqbal, Nishu Dikshit, Kriti Vij, and Sanjeev Chopra, among others. Based on the Burari deaths that shook not just Delhi but the entire nation, the series is set in the backdrop of immense tension.

Tamannaah Bhatia will play the role of an investigation officer in ‘Aakhri Sach’. The super-talented actress said, “When ‘Aakhri Sach’ came to me, it was a story that immediately shook my core. This character is very special to me – firstly because it’s the first time I am playing a police officer in a long format. Secondly, the emotional vulnerability of Anya that Aakhri Sach displays is like no other. Playing this sharp and fierce cop pushed me to embrace all the discomfort and perceptions that came with it and overcome them. I am glad to be a part of this story and take this to the world with Disney+ Hotstar!”

The series will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from August 25.
