Overall the Magnolia Bakery was pretty good, however, I don't feel that it has the value. The food was well designed and looked pretty appetizing, however, to be honest with you there are several other bakeries in the area that I preferred. From what I have been reading though, the pudding is the best, so my experience is limited to the cupcakes. I would recommend to give the place a try, especially the pudding, I will be going to check that out.

Everyone goes to Magnolia for the cupcakes, but that is the least interesting thing on the menu. Instead, try the banana pudding, which is the best in the city. There is a line, but it moves quickly and is part of the appeal of going, actually. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

These are hands down the best cupcakes in New York City. Every flavor is fantastic and beautifully crafted. I recommend the red velvet!
