Karan Johar celebrates 18 years of the release of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham

Karan Johar’s magnum opus Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Kareena Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan in the lead roles hit the screen on December 14, 2001. It’s been 18 years of release and KJo celebrated the K3G success on social media.
 

The filmmaker took to his Twitter handle and penned an emotional note, mentioning that he is "blessed to have this story to look back to". With his post, Karan shared the trailer of this film and tagged the entire cast of his film.
 
Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham was Karan Johar marked his debut as a director with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in 1998 and K3G was his second film as a director-led by SRK as Rahul Raichand-the adopted son of Amitabh Bachchan's character Yashwardhan Raichand. Kajol was seen as Anjali Sharma- Rahul's love interest. Jaya Bachchan played Big B’s on-screen and played the character of Nandini Raichand. Kareena played Pooja -Anjali's younger sister and Hrithik’s character Rahul's younger brother Rohan and love interest of Kareena. Rani Mukerji did a cameo in the film.
