Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign facing a shortfall in North Texas

  • By
Salvation Army is one of the oldest fundraising sources that is currently facing a major shortfall just before the long-awaited Christmas holiday season.

According to the reports from the Local officials, Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign is running short of $270,000 projections. The main reason for the shortage is the availability of the volunteers specifically in North Texas areas including Plano, Irving, and Fort Worth.
In Fort Worth, there are more than 150 locations with only 40 of them containing regular staff. The volunteers say that this job is interesting and worth experiencing.
As per Karen Bledsoe, one of the volunteers, there are so many people who need help and one person can’t fix all of the problems.
