Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming movie Baiju Bawra will be a full-fledged musical film of the director. According to reports, Baiju Bawra will be a story of two singers and will have more than a dozen songs.
SLB talked about his film and said that it will the biggest challenge as a composer. Though he is not expecting to compete with colossal music Naushad saab inculcated in Baiju Bawra in 1952, it will be quite impossible to recreate those heights.

The director of Devdas fame stated that he had officially started composing the songs for his film since his Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ram-Leela hit the screen in 2013.
A new singer will be launched in the film. In the original version of this film, Mohammad Rafi gave his voice to songs like O Duniya Ke Rakhwale and Man Tadpat Hari Darshan Ko Aaj. Indian classical singers Ustad Amir Khan and DV Paluskar also played an active part of the male-playback team.
Bhansali could find a fresh voice for the new version of his film, Baiju Bawra. For the new singer, SLB said that it is impossible to recreate Lata Mangeshkar’s voice in songs like Mohe Bhool Gaye Saawariya and Bachpan Ki Mohabbat in the original film but he will continue looking for fresh voices of female singers to come up with the best songs.
