Texas 16-year old Allen High School football player fatally shot at a house party

Saturday night at a house party, 16-year-old identified as Marquel Ellis, a football player at Allen High School was fatally shot and killed. 
 
According to a report from the police officers, they received a call at 10 p.m. someone stating gunshots in the 3200 blocks of Peachtree Lane. When officers reached the crime area, they found Marquel shot. Though he was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital, he was pronounced dead.
 

Allen Independent School District identified the boy and gave a statement that they received the information about this sudden loss earlier today only. Marquel was a sophomore at Allen High School and now the management has decided to arrange counselors for students and staff to convey the information.
 
Further reports from the officers state that Ellis and some teenagers were enjoying their vacation at a rental house for a party. After some time, a group got kicked out and went out to get a gun. Soon, the group started firing into the home.
 
One of the neighbors, McMenamy said that she had seen mostly adults but last night, most of the teenage looking kids were doing a party at the house and then she heard 9 shots. After some time, she heard someone saying 'Keep breathing baby, keep breathing' and it was then she realized that something bad has happened.
 
Officers interrogated party people and neighbors to check for surveillance video. No information on the suspect has been received by the officers so far. Well, this is the first homicide reported in the city, this year.
