Fort Worth: Suspected drunken driver hit officer with car

Early Friday Morning, A Fort Worth Department police officer was immediately rushed to the hospital after he was hit by a drunken suspect.
 
According to reports from the Fort Worth Police Department, the incident took place at 2:30 a.m. when the officer pulled over a suspected drunken driver on northwest Highway 287 near Harmon Road.
 
A second FW Police officer arrived to help him block traffic. While she was putting out traffic cones, she and her patrol car were hit by another suspected drunken driver.

 

The car went off the road and the drunken suspect ran away. But officers could track the suspect and take him into custody.
 
32-year-old Oscar Barragan, the drunken suspect has been charged with intoxication assault with a vehicle and causing serious injuries to an officer.
 
No name of the officer has been revealed by the officials. She is in serious condition but it seems that her injuries are non-life-threatening.
