Water turned into ice overnight on some of the roads of Dallas and caused some major problems as well.

The roads looked dry early in the morning today with some damp iced over. The drivers riding through Interstate 20 found it difficult to drive safely through the road.

Sheriff’s deputies of Dallas found a jackknifed FedEx 18-wheeler on Interstate 20 near JJ Lemmon Road. The giant 18-wheeler hit ice and slid into a median accidently.

After two vehicles hit, deputies closed the ramp on eastbound I-20 at Spur 408. Thankfully, no one was hurt when the vehicles hit.

The roads are now back to normal and open for public still caution is advised in case of slick spots.
