Candidates all set to put efforts in campaigning for North Texas midterm elections

US Senator Ted Cruz is really trying hard to win a second term. He will be in North Texas today to request his fellow Republicans to cast their precious vote. Not only this, “Cruz for Victory” tour bus of senator will stop for a free event at 9:30 a.m. at Gilly’s, Dallas. The next day, he will begin campaigning Arlington. Later, he will be joined by John Cornyn, another Republican Senator from Texas. The day before yesterday, he paid a visit to Georgetown and Killeen, cities of Central Texas.
 
Cruz’s Democratic challenger, Congressman Beto O’Rourke also spoke to voters day before yesterday in San Antonio. He was later joined by his fellow Congressman Joaquin Castro. He is all set to begin campaigning in Austin and Round Rock today. So, he will be in East Texas and Midlothian, south of Dallas tomorrow. The day after, he will begin campaigning in Fort Worth, Arlington, Grand Prairie, and Dallas.
 

Gov. Greg Abbott dedicatedly working to win re-election against former Dallas Sheriff Lupe Valdez, begin campaigning for fellow Republicans. He was in Irving with State Sen. Don Huffines in order to support Dallas County District Attorney Faith Johnson and others.
 
Abbott is leading Valdez in statewide polls despite some challenges from Democrats.
 
All of the candidates are campaigning passionately. The second day of voting in North Texas is a success.
