Moti Bagh, a world-class documentary film based on the journey of a motivational farmer based in the remote Himalayan village has been nominated for the Oscars. On Tuesday, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat announced this news with utmost zest.

The chief minister of Uttarakhand congratulated film director, Nirmal Chander Dandriyal and stated that this film is based on the journey of Vidyadutt, a farmer living in the Uttarakhand’s Pauri Garhwal region.

According to Rawat, this film will be an inspiration to youths who stay in the villages and work for their communities.  Hopefully, the message will help reduce migrations from remote areas.

The chief minister urged young farmers to watch this documentary, take inspiration, and should take advantage of schemes and plans introduced by the state government.
